A delicious twist on the classic ice cream sandwich, using the air fryer for perfectly baked chocolate chip cookies.

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 pint ice cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Form cookie dough balls and place them in the air fryer basket, spacing them apart.
  8. Cook in the air fryer for about 8 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cookies cool before sandwiching with ice cream.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try adding nuts to the cookie dough.
  • Adjust the cooking time based on the air fryer model.
