These Air Fryer Gingerbread Cookies are an easy and festive treat perfect for the holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat together butter and brown sugar until creamy.
  3. Add molasses, egg, and vanilla to the butter mixture and mix well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Chill the dough for at least an hour.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Roll out the dough and cut into desired shapes.
  8. Place cookies in the air fryer basket and cook for about 8 minutes.
  9. Let the cookies cool on a wire rack.

Notes

  • For a softer cookie, bake for a shorter time.
  • Add icing for decoration if desired.
