Delicious caramel apple cupcakes that bring the flavors of fall to your gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup diced apples
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, cream the softened butter and then add in the eggs, vanilla, and diced apples.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with batter.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Once cooled, drizzle with caramel sauce.

Notes

  • For an added crunch, sprinkle chopped nuts on top before serving.
