- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup diced apples
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and then add in the eggs, vanilla, and diced apples.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Fill each cupcake liner about 2/3 full with batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once cooled, drizzle with caramel sauce.
