1 pound elbow macaroni
1 pound ground beef
1 can kidney beans, drained
1 can diced tomatoes
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
2 cups beef broth
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
Stir in chili powder, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook for another minute.
Add kidney beans, diced tomatoes, beef broth, and elbow macaroni. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer until macaroni is cooked and liquid is mostly absorbed.
Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.
Serve hot, garnished with additional cheese if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, add bell peppers or jalapeños to the beef mixture.
