1 cup unsalted butter
2 cups sugar
4 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined.
Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder and salt.
Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until fully combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips and spread the brownie mixture into the prepared baking pan.
In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, baking soda, vanilla and chocolate chips for the cookie layer.
Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough on top of the brownie layer.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
