A rich and creamy baked macaroni and cheese dish enhanced with turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 4 ounces chicken ham
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and crumble.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and stir in flour to create a roux.
  5. Add milk gradually, whisking until the sauce thickens.
  6. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and cheese until melted.
  7. Combine macaroni, chicken ham, and bacon with the cheese sauce.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish, top with breadcrumbs, and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Notes

  • For an extra cheesy dish, add more cheese on top before baking.
  • Substitute any other type of meat or vegetables as desired.
