  • 1 pound chicken breast, cooked and shredded
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup celery, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté the onions, carrots, and celery until softened.
  3. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Stir in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package directions.
  6. Stir in the shredded chicken, heavy cream, thyme, and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Add the turkey bacon back to the pot and heat through.
  8. Serve hot.
