Creamy Ricotta Beef Stuffed Shells Pasta

A delicious and creamy dish filled with ricotta and beef, perfect for comforting meals.

  • 12 large jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
  4. In a bowl, combine the cooked beef, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Fill each pasta shell with the beef and cheese mixture.
  6. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  7. Place the stuffed shells in the dish and cover with remaining marinara sauce.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, sprinkle more mozzarella cheese on top before baking.
  • These can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge before baking.
