A rich and flavorful dish combining tender chicken with the sweetness of sautéed apples and earthy mushrooms, infused with thyme.

  • 4 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup apple slices
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 6-7 minutes each side.
  3. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add apple slices and mushrooms, cooking until tender.
  5. Stir in thyme and cream, bringing to a simmer.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet, coating with the creamy sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, then cook for an additional 5 minutes until heated through.
