A delicious and comforting creamy chicken noodle soup featuring savory turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup egg noodles
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  3. Add onion and garlic; sauté until onion is translucent.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Add shredded chicken and egg noodles; cook until noodles are tender.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and thyme; season with salt and pepper.
  7. Garnish with crumbled turkey bacon before serving.
