This Extra Creamy Easy Scalloped Potatoes recipe features layers of thinly sliced potatoes, creamy sauce, and crispy turkey bacon for a delightful side dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes.
  3. Top with half of the diced onion, half of the turkey bacon, and a sprinkle of salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  4. Add half of the heavy cream and half of the cheese.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
