  • 1 cup cream cheese (for filling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, spices, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar, then add in the molasses, egg, and vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until well combined.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet and flatten slightly.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until slightly firm.
  7. Allow to cool completely before adding cream cheese filling.
  8. Spread cream cheese onto one cookie and top with another.
