2 boneless chicken breasts
8 ounces penne pasta
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
In a large pot, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes per side. Remove chicken and let it rest.
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
