A comforting pasta dish that’s easy to make, featuring turkey bacon for a flavorful twist.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 8 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic, half of the mozzarella, and crumbled turkey bacon.
  4. Spread half of the marinara sauce in a baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti, then the ricotta mixture, and repeat.
  5. Top with remaining marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes or until bubbly.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add chopped herbs like basil or parsley to the cheese mixture.
  • Substitute turkey bacon with regular bacon if desired.
