- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup grated Gruyere cheese
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- Add the onions to the pot and cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
- Stir in the garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add the beef broth, thyme, Worcestershire sauce, and bring to a boil.
