  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the chocolate cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, blend the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, pumpkin puree, cinnamon, and nutmeg until creamy.
  4. Pour half of the chocolate batter into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the pumpkin mixture over the chocolate batter.
  6. Top with the remaining chocolate batter.
  7. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before serving.
