  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon red food coloring
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix well.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Stir in red food coloring until well blended.
  7. Pour half of the brownie batter into a greased pan.
  8. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until creamy.
  9. Spread cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter.
  10. Spoon remaining brownie batter on top and swirl gently.
  11. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  12. Let cool before cutting into squares.

  • For a richer flavor, use dark cocoa powder.
  • Add chopped walnuts for extra crunch.
