- 2 pounds potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheese (such as Gruyère or Cheddar)
- 4 cloves roasted garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter, for greasing
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer half of the potatoes in the dish, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and half of the minced roasted garlic.
- Add half of the cheese on top of the first layer.
- Repeat with the remaining potatoes, garlic, and cheese.
