  • 1/2 cup espresso, brewed and cooled
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: flour, sugars, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine the wet ingredients: salted caramel sauce, espresso, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool before frosting with additional salted caramel and chocolate ganache.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use dark cocoa powder instead of regular cocoa powder.
