A simple and flavorful slow cooker recipe for honey garlic chicken and vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 3 cups mixed vegetables (carrots, broccoli, bell peppers)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, and garlic.
  2. Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker and pour the honey mixture over them.
  3. Add mixed vegetables on top.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.
  5. Mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the slow cooker 30 minutes before serving to thicken the sauce.
  6. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add ginger to the sauce.
  • Feel free to use any vegetables you have on hand.
