- 3 medium zucchinis
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the zucchinis lengthwise into thin strips.
- In a skillet, cook the ground turkey until browned and cooked through.
- Add marinara sauce to the cooked turkey and stir to combine.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a baking dish, layer zucchini strips, turkey mixture, ricotta mixture, and mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for 30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
- For an extra cheesy version, add more mozzarella on top.
